Since I was a kid I have had a deep love affair with stories…
So much so that I received a merit award for it when I was in year 4. I love the way stories can transport us, inspire us, empower us, move us, bring us to stillness and above all, change us. I always thought at some stage I would write a book. That time has come and brought with it a fierce passion that has been awakened, much like a dormant volcano.
My favourite place to explore, if you haven’t already guessed, is the intersection where faith in a loving God collides with a supremely messed up world. There, in those moments of outrageous grace, exists the best stories. The ones that ruin you in good kind of way. The ones that cause you to ask “What is this faith life?”. This is what I write about - this faith life - in all it’s beautiful mess.

Single Me is my journey of undoing. Undoing all that I thought I knew about myself, about relationships, about God and how my plans and His plans collide. It’s my journey of learning to love this unwanted path of singleness and trusting that God’s plans, whilst painful and heartbreaking at times always, without fail, lead to a better life. I intentionally try to offer no answers, just questions and revelations I have wrestled with. My hope is that by sharing these very real, very vulnerable stories you will discover that you too, are not alone.
