A faith-daring life…

I never expected to be here.

If you had asked me in my early twenties if I would be where I am today, I would have laughed at you and then walked away and started to panic that it didn’t line up with how I thought my life would look like.

But this is what happens when you decide to actively live out what you believe and step out of the boat.

I took a big leap of faith…

about 3 years ago, I purchased an ethical online fashion marketplace with some friends and quit my very comfortable paying job to enter into the Start-Up world. That decision sent me on trajectory I never could have anticipated.

I am a Sydney-sider born and bred. I’m afraid of spiders, decaf and living a mediocre life. I love coffee (especially ones in cups the size of my head) cute cafes, travel, massages, beaches, quality conversation, my friends and being productive (#nerd).

I began this website/blog a few years ago when I was wanting to start a Speaking/Mentoring business that never took off (big lesson in timing and focus). What has stuck though, is the desire to have a space where I can share my thoughts, observations and questions about my progressive revelation of who God is and what that means to the human experience.

And then I wrote a book…

about being single. Not necessarily a topic I wanted to write about and to be honest I still don’t want to release it to the world. But if I’ve learned anything over the last few years it’s that a life of daring faith is never comfortable and will always require more of you than you’re willing to give. But if you can find the courage to feel the fear and do it anyway, a faith-daring life is yours for the taking.

I don’t have all the answers. I just love paying attention to the complex mess found at the intersection of faith and life, because what I see doesn’t always align with what I believe. And there, in the middle of that mess, can be found the incredible grace of God, extending to us just one more piece of the puzzle that is our progressive revelation of God.

I look forward to sharing with you my journey through this faith life.
