It's been awhile....

That’s an understatement.

Life has evolved and morphed in so many ways. Both good ways and challenging ways and I’ve been learning to settle in to a new norm, a new pattern, a new dynamic.

I’m writer. At my very core, words swirl and bubble and I love plucking them out one by one and stringing them together, painting and weaving ideas and imagery and then gifting the final piece to you, hoping you’ll take it and allow those words and sentences to connect with you.

But I can’t create unless the inspiration for that piece exists first. For a couple of years now I have been living first, because you can’t write what you first don’t now or understand. I paused my fingers and instead opened my eyes and allowed myself to live in where God has been directing me.

And now, I finally feel the desire to delve deep into the creative space where words swirl and bubble and start picking them up again, delicately weaving and gifting them again.

So things will look at a little different around here. The evolution will be intentional, thought out and likely a little slow. But I’m excited to begin.
